UNIFORM SHOP
New students to Lane Cove West Public School will need to purchase both school and sport uniforms.
The summer uniform is worn in Terms 1 and 4 and the winter uniform is worn in Terms 2 and 3. There is a transition period in weeks 1 to 3 of term 2 when either uniform can be worn.
What is the uniform?
The following items must be worn as part of the formal (non sport day) uniform.

Girls - summer
Dress, short white socks, black school shoes, school hat (either pale or dark blue)
Alternatively, navy formal shorts and blouse (with logo) instead of the dress
Boys - summer
Grey shorts and blue short sleeve shirt (with logo), short grey socks, black school shoes, school hat (dark blue) or flap cap
Sport uniform (for both boys and girls)
Navy blue microfibre shorts and sky blue polo (with school logo), white sport socks and sport shoes.
Girls - winter
Long sleeve blue blouse and tartan tunic, blue tights and black school shoes OR long navy blue pants and long sleeve blouse (with logo)
Boys - winter
Long grey trousers, long sleeve shirt (with logo), grey socks and black shoes
Winter sport
Long microfibre pants and long sleeve sports polo (with logo)
Stretch bootleg pants are available also for girls.
Jackets – both summer (microfibre) and winter weight (polar fleece) jackets with the school logo can combine with either summer or winter uniform.
Hats must be worn when outside. The school has a no hat no play policy.

Location
Enter the school from the staff car park entrance and follow the path to the right, alongside the administration block. When you reach the sandpit, there are three sheds on your right. We are the third and last shed.

The uniform shop uses Flexischools online ordering system to place and pay for uniforms, so ordering on-line is simple, convenient and reliable.

HOW CAN I RECEIVE MY DELIVERY?
All online orders are delivered to the classrooms on Tuesdays and Fridays. The order must be received by 4pm on the preceding day.
For new kindy students please pick up your order from the uniform shop during opening hours or during kindergarten
orientation. There will also be special opening times at the beginning of the new year for new students entering other
years. Please email the shop to arrange a time.
Orders cannot be picked up from the school office.
WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW MY SIZE?
Our sizing is very standard to most retail sizing. Click here for measurements of all articles of clothing. Our sizing starts at size 4 and goes through to size 18 or adult, depending on the product.
WHAT IF I ORDER THE WRONG SIZE?
Please do not worry if you order the wrong size. We will happily exchange or give a refund provided the item is still in its original packaging and has its tags. All returns can be returned to the school office with the following details; child’s name, class and instructions of what you would like as a replacement or refund.
SECOND HAND
We have a limited number of second hand items to sell which are received as donated items from parents. Please visit the shop if you would like to see what is available. Most of the second hand is seasonal and there is no guarantee that all items will be available.
COVID 19 ARRANGEMENTS
The uniform shop is currently open. Due to the difficulty for volunteers we are unable to provide our usual one on one
fittings during kindy orientation. We recommend online ordering or picking up an order form from the shop during kindy
orientation. Samples of clothes are available to look at during opening times.
Orders for current students can be made through the Flexischools website (flexischools.com.au) with orders delivered to the classroom. This is done on Tuesdays and Fridays.

LOST PROPERTY
To ensure your items do not become lost property, please remember to name your child’s clothes with both their first and family names, particularly hats and jackets. Hats are frequently lost and buying a spare one is recommended.
