A reminder to all parents that the Lapathon is on 19th May and we encourage as many parents as possible to attend and support the children. We will need at least 2 parents per class to help each class at the oval on the day so could class parents please help with organising this.
Children need to wear their sports uniform and bring a hat, water and sun block on the day and if leaving directly from the park, should take their school or excursion bag to the park.
The children leave the school at 1.00pm for Blackman Park and the Lapathon starts at 1.30 and finishes at 2.30. There will be 2 courses:

1 course for K & Year 1

1 course for Years 2-6
Parents wishing to take their children home directly from Blackman Park will need to advise the class teacher and sign their child out at the Lapathon.
Children should not bring their sponsorship forms on the day; they need to return them with all money collected to the school by 26thMay 2011. Additional sponsorship forms can be downloaded from here.
Rain on the day
If it rains on the day or the oval is too wet for use, the event will be moved to the following Thursday, 26thMay 2011. Parents will be advised by the school if this is likely.
So let’s get our kids walking - the money raised with the support of our fantastic families and school community will help the P&C towards some of its 2011 goals to support our wonderful school.
