The Chess club is run by Teachers and parents. Children in Years 1 – 6 are eligible to join. The club meets on Tuesdays after school (3.30pm-4.30pm) during Term 2 & 3 in 4C & 4M classrooms. Children can either be picked up outside Block B each Tuesday at 4.30pm or go to OOSH.
The Children are grouped in accordance with their skills and experience.
During term 3, the Intermediate/experienced group will have their turn to receive professional tuition and will compete in a tournament. The Beginners group will improve their new skills through games and will compete in a tournament for the students who wish to.
A fee of $15.00 per term is collected to assist in the professional tuition fees, the purchase of equipment and the purchase of trophies at the end of Term 3.

Term 3 enrolments will open from week 8 Term 2 and will close on Friday 1st July 2011. No enrolment will be accepted after this date.
First meeting – Tuesday 19th July 2011 (Wk1 Term 3)
